Play hardball, and let them call you. Seven days' of storage fees will surely make them take note. When they call you back, tell them you will take $4000 and the car is theirs. If they say repairs will cost $3800, then tell them to fix the car to its original shape for the $3800 they quoted, and you'll take the car. You have to be strong and turn the tables back on them.
